( 9 ) Resolved unanimously^ That the thanks of this Grand Lodge be presented to the most worshipful John Louis Taylor, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of North- Carolina & Tennessee, for the able, eloquent & instruc- tive address delivered to the Grand Lodge this day.™ That he be requested to furnish a copy of said address ; and that the same be printed and distributed to the several Lodges under the jurisdiction of this Grand Lodge. Whereas it frequently happens that some of the BIem» bers of the Grand Lodge and Visiters, appear in the same not prepared with the necessary Masonic clothing. In order, therefore, that such Brethren may be accommo- dated in future, and the Lodge when convened, have a more uniform appearance. Resolved^ That the most worshipful Grand Master be requested to purchase or have made such number as he may deem necessary, of plain aprons and sashes, for the use of the Grand Lodge ; that he draw upon the Grand Treasurer for the amount, who is hereby required to paj the same. Whereas Royal Edwin, No. 5, Windsor, St. John, No. 13, Duplin County; St. Tammany, No. 16, Martin County, have been informed by the Secretary of this Grand Lodge to appear at this Grand Annual Commu- nication, and shew cause why their charters should not be arrested, and said Lodges be dissolved : And whereas the said Lodges, respectively, have failed to appear: Therefore it is resolved that the Charters of said Lodges be arrested and that they be from henceforward dissolve ed : That the Secretary of this Grand Lodge call up- A a on
