Another significant classification of the six different kinds of tenure may made with reference to the output of farm produce. The percentage of the total value of live stock on farms and of the relative value of other commodities pro- duced by the six classes of farmers as compared with the valuation of farm property handled by each class, will show the productive ability secured by the various ways of farming as well as the kind of farming in which each class of farmers was principally engaged.
