CAP. I. What Sort of People fhall be chofen, and who (hall be the Choofers of the Knights and BurgefTes of the Parliament. Raft. 446. 6 T7IR.S.T, That the Statutes of the Election of 4 J? the Knights of the Shires to come to the Parlia- 4 ment, be holden and. kept in all Points; (2) adjoin- 4 ing to the fame, That the Knights of the Shires 4 which from henceforth fhall be chofen in every Shire, 4 be not chofen unkfs they be refident within the Shire 4 where they fhall be chofen the Day of the Date of 4 the Writ of the Summons of the Parliament ; (3) 4 and that the Knights and Efquires, and others which 4 fhall be Choofers of thofe Knights of the Shires, be 4 alfo refident within the fame Shires, in Manner and 4 Form as is aforefaid.
