' III. And whereas in all Places where Markets are holden, there is not a Clerk of the Market to Seal Where there is all Meafures as by the former Aft is direfted :' Be it therefore further enafted. That in every fuch Cafe ^ '^u'^* °u '^ it {hall and may be lawful for the Mayor, BailifFs or Head Officer, or other Perfon or Perfons who hath what Pe'rfonTare the Benefit of fuch Market, and they and every of them are hereby authorized and required, to feal or caufe ari'ointed to feal to te fealed all A'leafures duly gauged, that fhall be brought unto them for that Purpofe; which Sealing (>'£ Mtafures. ihall be as effeftual in the Law to all Intents and Purpofes, as if fuch Meafure had been fealed by any Clerk of the Market, every fuch Mayor, Bailiff or Head Officer, taking no more for fo doing than is by the faid I Aft appointed. Provided always, and be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall and may be lav7- This Aft (hall ! fill for every Perfon or Perfons, Bodies Politick or Corporate, or any of them, to whom any Salt, Rejit- not extend to ! Corn or Tithe-Corn is referved or due by any Leafe, Grant, Contraft, Cuftom or Ufage, to receive and Rsnt-Comor ! take all fuch Rent or other Duties of Salt and Corn as^ is or fliall be fo referved or due, or the juft and full Tiths-Com, ' Va'ue thereof in ready Money, according to the Proportion and Quantity, and by the like Meafures, and in ' fuch Manner, as the fam.e were due and paid before the Beginning of this Parliament; any thing herein ' or in any other Law or Statute to the contrary in any wife notwithftandlng. CAP. XIII. (3.) An Aft for exporting of Beei-, Ale and- Mum. Strong Ale, Strong Beer and Mum, may be exported, pay- ing Cuftom. The Rates of the Cuftom. An Aft for Determination of Diirerences touching Houfes burnt or demolifhed' within four Years fince the 19 Car. i. c. j. late dreadful Fire in London. Ail Differences about any Houfes v/ithin the Bills of Mortality, demolifned =jCar. 2. c. 11, by Fire, fliall he determined by the Judges, for the Judicature of Houfes demolifhed by Fire within Zot- don. Longer Time given to the Judicature. The Time limited for receiving of Complaints. Lord Mayor when to difpofe of Ground unbuilt. Authority given to grant long Leafes of the Savoy Ground. .EXP. CAP. XV. (II.) ^^ An A61 for the better Settlement of the Maintenance of the Parfonis, Vicars and Curates, in the Parifhes of the City of London burnt by the late dreadful Firethere.
