XXI. And be it enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That yearly, and every Year, during the Term 7i;oool. to bs of thirty-tv/o Years, reckoning the firft '^ ear to begin from the five and twentieth Day of March one 'he yearly Fund, thoufand feven hundred and eleven, the full Sum of one hundred thirty-five thouftnd Pounds, by or out of the Monies to arife by the feveral Duties, Rates, and Sums of Money by this A6t granted or appropri- ated, or any of them, and to be brought into the Receipt of the Exchequer as aforefaid, in cafe the fame fliall extend thereunto, fnall be computed and reckoned to be a yearly Fund ; and in cafe all the Monies arifing into the Exchequer for the faid Duties, Rates, and Sums of Money fo granted or appropriated, fhall not amount to the Sum of one hundred and thirty-five thoufand Pounds per A-nniwi, then the Monies fo arifing, fo far as the fame fliall extend, fiiall be Part of the yearly Fund, for and towards the anfwering and paying of all and every the Principal Sums herein after mentioned, amounting in the whole to the Sum of one Million nine hundred twenty-eight thoufand five hundred and feventy Pounds principal Mo- ney, together with Intercft for the fame, after the Rate of fix Pounds />cr Centum per Anman, as herein after is mentioned ; and in cafe the faid Duties by this Aft granted or appropriated Ihall at any Time or Deficiency to be Times appear to be fo deficient or low in the Produce of the fiime, as that within any one Year, to be m-de good by reckoned as aforefaid, the faid Monies arifing into the Exchequer, for or upon Account of the fame Du- Parliament, &c. ties, fliall not amount to as much as one hundred thirty-five thoufand Pounds, That then, and fo often, and in every fuch Cafe, fo much as fhall be wanting to make upon the faid Fund, or Sum of one hun- dred thirty-five thoufand Pounds for every or any fuch Year, fhall be fupplied and made good, from Time to Time, out of the firft Aid or Supply to be granted in Parliament next after fuch Deficiency fhall ap- pear, and fhall, from Time to 1 ime, be transferred thereunto, as foon as the f.ime fhall be granted ; and in cafe no fuch Aid or Supply fhall be granted, then by and out of any publick Money which fnall be in the faid Receipt of Exchequer, not appropriated to any particular Ufe or Ufes by Aft of Parliament ; and the CommifHoners of the Treafury now being, or the Lord High Treafurer, or Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, are hereby ftridtly enjoined and required to make up fuch Deficiency ac- cordingly, out of fuch unappropriated publick Money, v/ithout any further or other Warrant or Autho- rity for the fame. XXII. And be it further enafled by the Authority aforefaid. That it fhall and may be lawful for any Natives or Fo- Perfon or Perfons, Natives or Foreigners, Bodies Politick or Corporate, to contribute for or tov/ards ad- i^ign^fs may bs vancing the Sum of one Million five hundred thoufand Pounds, for carrying on the faid War, by paying ^°'^= Adventu. at or before the refpeftive Days and Times by this Aft limited in that Behalf, to any Receiver or Re- ceivers to be appointed for that Purpofe, as is herein after mentioned, the Sum of ten Pounds, or divers entire Sums often Pounds, upon this Aft ; and that for the raifing the faid Sum of one Million five hun- dred thoufand Pounds, any Perfon who will become a Contributor or Adventurer, fhall and may advance the Sum of ten Pounds, for vyhich Sum fo advanced, he, fne or they fhall be intituled to receive fuch Principal Money, and the Intereft thereof, to be paid as herein after is mentioned, by and out of the faid yearly Fund, and the Surplus Monies over and above the faid yearly Fund (if any fuch Surplus Monies fhall arife) by virtue of this Aft: And that every Contributor or Adventurer may advance as many en- tire Sums of ten Pounds, as he, fhe or they fliall think fit; and for every fuch Sum often Pounds fo advanced, he, fhe or they is, or are to be interefted in one Lot or Share of and in the faid yearly Fund, and the Surplus Money over and above the faid yearly Fund (if any fuch Surplus fnall arife) by virtue of this Aft ; and the fame entire Sums often Pounds each, are hereby appointed to be paid unto xime^ of Pay- fuch Receiver or PvCceivers, at or before the refpeftive Days and Times, and in the refpeftive Proportions ment. herein after mentioned ; that is to fay, one fourth Part thereof, on or before the firft Day of May in the Year of our Lord one thoufand 'ixtvtn hundred and eleven ; one other fourth Part thereof, on or before the firft Day o^ 'Jur:e in the faid Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and eleven ; one other fourth Part thereof, on or before the fecond Day of July in the faid Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hun- dred and eleven; and the remaining fourth Part thereof, on or before the firft Day oi Auguji in the faid Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and eleven.
