' XXVII. And whereas great Part of the Debt of the Navy and Viftualling, and for Tranfport Service, ' and of the Office of Ordnance, is afcertained by Bills or Debentures payable in Coui fe, and other Part ' of the Debt of the Navy is alfo afcertained by Tickets made out for Wages to Seamen, and others who ' ferved on Board any of her Majefi;y"s Ships, but great Part of the faid Debt is for V/ages due to the ' Seamen and Workmen in her Majefiy's Docks and Yards, for which the refpeftive Peribns, to whom ' the fame is due, have no Bills, Tickets, or Debentures to afcertain the fame ;' Be it therefore enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That the Commiffioners of the Navy for the time being fhall and are hereby required forthwith to caufe an exaft and true Account to be made up and delivered unto the Commiffioners of the Treafury now being, or the Lord High Treafurer, or the Commiffioners of the Treafury for the time being, of the refpeftive Sums due from the faid Navy Office, as well upon Bills in Courfe upon the f.cond Regifler Book, as for the Bills in Courfe in the prefent Regifter Book, on or before the five and twentieth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and eleven, as well for Principal as for Interefl:, and alfo df all Tickets made out, on or before the faid five and twentieth Day of March one thoufand fevc. hundred and eleven, for the Wages of Seamen, or others, who have ferved on Board any of her Majefl:y's Ships ; and alfo that the Commiffioners of the Viftualling, and the Commiffioners of Tranfports, and the Officers of he,r Majefiy's Office of Ordnance refpeftively, fhall and are hereby required forthwith to caufe a true and exaft Account to be made up and delivered to the Commiffioners of the Treafury now being, or the Lord High Treafurer, or Commiffioners of the Treafury for the time being, of all the feveral and refpeftive Sums due from, thofe feveral and refpeftive Offices, to the five and twenteith Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and eleven inclufive, for which Certificates or Debentures, payable in Courfe, arc or fhall have been made forth : And the Commiffioners of the Treafury now being, or the Lord High Treafurer or Commiffioners of the Treafury for the time being, fhall and are hereby required to caufe all the faid Debts of the faid feveial Offices of the Navy, Victualling, Tranfport, and Ordnance, for which fuch Bills, Tickets, Certificates, or Debentures are, or, as aforefaid, fhall have been made out, to be caft . tip into one total Sum, and fhall likewife caufe to be caft: up in one total Sum, the feveral Sums herein be- fore mentioned to be computed to be the Debt of all thofe feveral Offices ; and fhall add to the f.:id lafl: mentioned total Sum,' the Sum of five hundred thoufand Pounds herein before mentioned and agreed to be charged upon the Fur.ds hereby fettled as Part of the Provifion for this prefent yearly Service ; and fhall caufe to be dedufted out of the Sums laft mentioned, the Sum total which all the Debts of the Offices cf the Navy, Viitualling, Tranfport, and Ordnance, to the five and twentieth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred an,d eleven inclufive, as v/ell for Principal as Interefl, fhall amount to, and for which fuch Bills, Tickets, Certificates, or Debentures are or fhall have been made out ; and fo much as fhall remain of of the Cioi^far f^e total Sum herein computed to be the Debt of the fi; id Offices, and of the faid five hundred thoufand l-fx-kcf ri.,e Pounds for this Year's Service, added together, after .fuch DeJuftion thereout, as aforefaid, fhall be, and r ... ; - be deemed and taken to be publick Money, and fhall be made Part of the Capital Stock of the Company, ■• -■ <•• to be erefted by virtue of this Aft, for the Ufe of the Publick, in fuch Manner as her Majefly, her Heirs or Succefibrs, by the {;iid Letters Patents of Incorporation, or any Commiffion or Commiffions under the Great Seal of Great Britairi, or by Privy Seal or Sign Manual, fliall think fit and direft ; and the fame, and Ccmmiflioners ef the Navy to tauTe an Ac- <:V>unt of Debts due from the Navy Office on 25 Mar. 1711. to be delivered to the Treafary, Tickets fur Sea- jnens Wages, how paid, 10 Anna; c, a6 §.
