D. 17 19. thoufand feven hundred and two; and during the refpective Remainders of thofe Terms are payahle to the refpective Proprietors thereof, according to the Nature of their feveral and refpe£tive Eftates and Interefts therein, whereof fome are in Pofleffion, and others to take Effect in Reverfion, or by way of future In- tereft. And by one Act of the twelfth Year of the Reign of his faid late Majefty King William, inti- tuled, An Ail for appropriating three thoufand feven hundred Pounds weekly, out of certain Branches of Excife for pub lick Ufes, and for making a Provifon for the Service of his Majeflys HouJJjo/d and Fa?nily, and other his neceffary Occafions, it was enacted, That from and after the twenty-fifth Day of December one thoufand feven hundred, for and during the Term of five Years then next enfuing, the full, clear and intire weekly Sum of three thoufand feven hundred Pounds, out of the hereditary Duties of Excife, and other Duties of Excife therein mentioned, and every or any of them, fhould be brought and paid into the Receipt of Ex- chequer, for the Purpofes in that A& expreffed. And by an Act made in the firft Year of the Reign of her late Majefty Queen Anne, intituled, An Ail for the better Support of_ her Majeflys Hoifhold, and the Honour and Dignity of the Crown, the Duties of Excife thereby granted during her Majefty 's Life, together with the faid hereditary Duties of Excife, were fubjected to the faid weekly Payment of three thoufand feven hundred Pounds, during the faid Term of five Years ; and after the Expiration thereof, fo much Money, as together with certain Payments, after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Annum, mould make up a Sum of three thoufand feven hundred Pounds for every Week during her Majefty's Life, was thereby appointed to be taken out of the faid Hereditary and other Duties of Excife therein mentioned, or any of them ; and the faid Payments of three Pounds per Centum per Ann:nn being deducted out of the Hereditary Part thereof, the P-efidue of the faid three thoufand feven hundred Pounds per Week was thereby directed to be applied and difpofed for the publick Ufe and Service. And by an Act of the fecond Year of the Reign of her faid late Majefty Queen Anne, intituled, An Act for granting an Aid to her Majejiy for carrying on the War, and other her Maj fly's Occafions, by felling Annuities at feveral Rates, and for fuch refpedive Terms and Eftates as are therein mentioned, it was enacted. That from and after the five and twentieth Day of December one thoufand feven hundred and five, the faid full, clear and entire weekly Sum of three thoufand and feven hundred Pounds, out of the .faid Hereditary Duties of Excife, and other Duties of Excife therein mentioned, or any of them, mould from Time to Time for ever be brought and paid into the Receipt of Exchequer; and by virtue of the fame Act and divers fubiequent A£ts relating thereunto, the faid weekly Payments do now ftand charged (among divers other Things) with feveral Annuities amounting to one hundred four thoufand feven hundred forty-five Pounds ten. Shil- lings and fix Pence Half-penny ^<?r Annum (over and above twelve hundred Pounds ^r Annum, for Charges of paying the fame Annuities) which Annuities laft mentioned were purchafed upon a Term of ninety and nine Years, reckoned from the five and twentieth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and four, and during the Remainder of that Term are payable to the feveral Proprietors thereof, according to the Nature of their feveral and refpective Eftates and Interefts therein, whereof fome are in Pofleffion, others to take Effect in Reverfion, or by way of future Intereft. And by an Act of the third Year of the Reign of her faid late Majefty Queen Anne, intituled, An Ail for raifing Monies by Sale of feveral Annuities, Jor carrying on the prefer.t JVar, feveral Annuities, amounting to forty-fix thoufand founds per Annum, were purchafed for a Term of ninety and nine Years, reckoned from the five and twentieth Day of December one thoufand feven hundred and five, at the Rate of fifteen Years Purchafe, and during the Remainder of that Term are payable to the feveral Proprietors thereof out of the Monies arifing by the faid weekly Payment of three thoufand feven hundred Pounds, or fome Part thereof, according to the Tenor of the Act laft mentioned, and other Acts of Parliament in that Behalf. And by an Act of the fourth Year of the Reign of her faid late Majefty Queen Anne, intituled, An Act for continuing an additional Subfuly of Tonnage and Poundage, and certain Duties upon Coals, Culm, and Cinders, and additional Duties of Excife; and for fettling and eflablijhing a Fund thertby, and by other Ways and Means, for Payment of Annuities, to be fold for raifing a further Supply to her Majejiy for the Service of the Tear one thoufand feven hundred and fix, and other Ufes therein mentioned, feveral Annuities, amounting to one hundred eighty-four thoufand two hundred forty two Pounds fourteen Shillings per Annum, were purchafed for a Term of ninety-nine Years, reckoned from the five and twentieth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and fix, at the Rate of fifteen Years and an Half's Purchafe ; and during the Remainder of that Term, are payable to the feveral and refpective Proprietors thereof,; out of the Monies arifing of or for the feveral Subfidies of Tonnage and Poundage, and of or for the Duties on Coals, Culm and Cinders, and the feveral Rates and Duties of Excife, by that Act appointed to be paid into the Exchequer, from Time to Time, in .fuch Manner and Form as by that Act are prefcribed in that Behalf: And the faid additional Subfidy of Tonnage and Poundage (commonly called the one third Subfidy) and the faid additional Duties of Ex- cife, have feverally been continued, and made perpetual by feveral Acts of Parliaments fince made and paffed, for feveral Ufes and Purpofes therein expreffed. And by an Act of the fifth Year of the Reign of her faid late Majefty Queen Anne, intituled, An Ac! for continuing the Duties on Low Wines and Spirits of the firft Extraction, and the Duties payable by Hawkers, Ped'.ars, and Petty Ch.rpmen, and Part of the Duties on fianipt Vellum, Parchment and Paper, and the late Duties on Sweets, and the one third Subfidy of Tonnage and Poundage ; and for fettling and eftablijhing a Fund thereby, and by tie Application of certain.
