' a Book of Subfcriptions, figned and attefted by three of the late Managers for taking fuch Subfcrip- 4 tions, as in the faid lnftrument is more fully and at large fet forth : And whereas it is evident, that the 4 faid principal Sum of feven millions five hundred fifty-eight thoufand three hundred fifteen Pounds ten

- ployed under them, in bringing over the Totals of fundry Pages in the faid Duplicate-Book, to make
- one Total at the End thereof, had omitted to bring over a Subfcription of two thoufand Pounds con-
4 tained in the faid Book under the Letter B. (Page thirty-three) and feveral Subfcriptions under the
- Letter M. beginning Page thirty-three and ending Page forty, and the Subfcriptions h omitted to be
4 brought over, do amount to fixty-feven thoufand eight hundred thirty-one Pounds fix Shillings and ' ten Pence ; and by Means of the faid Miftake, the faid Company have had lefs additional Stock and ' additional Annuity declared by the faid lnftrument than they ought to have had ; That is to fay, fixty- ' feven thoufand eight hundred thirty-one Pounds fix Shillings and ten Pence in Stock, and three thou- ' fand three hundred ninety-one Pounds eleven Shillings and four Pence lefs in additional Annuity for 4 that Stock, which Annuity was to commence and take Effect, in Point of Payment, from the Feaft of
- Saint Michael the Archangel one thoufand feven hundred and twenty as aforefaid :' Now for rectifying
the faid Miftakes, and to the End the faid Company may have and enjoy fo much as is their Right ; Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Commiffioners of his Majefty's Treafury, or any Treafury to rec- three or more of them, or the High Treafurer for the Time being, {hall and may rectify the Miftakes tify Miftakes in or Errors committed as aforefaid, by any new lnftrument or Inftruments under their Hands and Seals, | ou ^' s !*. thereby declaring, fettling and determining, that the principal Sums, amounting to the faid Sum of fixty- ' feven thoufand eight hundred thirty-one Pounds fix Shillings and ten Pence, are and fhall be added to the prefent Capital or Joint Stock of the faid Company; and that the yearly Sum of three thoufand three hundred ninety-one Pounds eleven Shillings and four Pence, being computed at the Rate of five Pounds per Centum on the faid principal Sum of fixty-feven thoufand eight hundred thirty-one Pounds fix Shillings and ten Pence, is and fhall be added in refpect of fuch their additional Stock, to the prefent Annuity or yearly Fund of the faid Company, and fhall commence and take Effect from the faid Feaft of Saint Mi- chael the Archangel one thoufand feven hundred and twenty, and continue and be payable for fuch Time and Times, and in fuch Manner and Form, and out of fuch particular Duties, Rates, Revenues and other Provifions as in and by the Act of the fixth Year of his Majefty's Reign were prefcribed or intended, in cafe fuch Miftakes had not been made, and fubject to fuch Reduction, Powers of Redemption, Con- ditions, Reftrictions and other Matters and Things as in and by the fame Act, or any other Act now in Force, were provided or intended touching or concerning the fame ; and the faid Commiffioners of the Treafury, by In- Treafury, or High Treafurer for the Time being, by fuch their lnftrument or Inftruments in Writing, ftrument in Wri- fhall and may declare, fettle and determine, that every Member of the faid Company in Proportion to his, un °' £° dcter " her or their refpective Shares in the Capital Stock thereof, increafed by fuch Addition, hath and {hall rainei * ales J' s -' c - have Credit in the Books of the faid Company, for his, her or their Proportion or Share, of and in the whole Capital Stock fo increafed, according to the true Meaning of the Act or Acts of Parliament in that Behalf.
