C. 12. 21 arife by virtue of the Grant thereof, during the Term aforefaid, after all the Annuities and Payments charged thereupon fhall be fully paid off and determined, or Money fufneient fhall be referved for that Purpofe (the neceffary Charges of Management always excepted) fhall be brought and paid, from Time to Time, into the Receipt of the Exchequer, for the Purpofes in this Aft expreffed, and fubjeft to fuch Redemption as is hereby prescribed concerning the fame. ' Wines, Brandy, Vinegar, and other Goods of the Growth, Produ£t, or Manufacture of France, im- 1 ported from and after the twenty-eighth Day of February one thoufand fix hundred ninety-fix, for the ' Term of one and twenty Years, and from thence to the End of the next Seffion of Parliament ;' Be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid additional Duties upon French Wines, Goods, Made P"P« u;J ' and Merchandizes, impofed by the A£t laft mentioned, after the Determination of that Act, fhall have Continuance and be paid and payable to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors for ever, and fhall be col- lected, levied, and paid, by fuch Ways and Means, and fubjeft to fuch Penalties and Forfeitures, and in fuch Manner and Form, as the faid additional Duties by the laft Aft mentioned, or by any other Aft relating thereunto, are appointed to be railed or levied; and that all the Monies which, from and after the Feaft-Day of Saint Michael the Archangel in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen, fhall arife of or for the faid additional Duties upon French Wines, Goods, and Merchandizes, by virtue of the faid Aft of the feventh Year of the Reign of King William the Third, or by virtue of this 7 w - 3- c - i0 » prefent Aft, except the neceflary Charges of raifing and paying the fame, fhall be brought and paid, from Time to Time, into the Receipt of the Exchequer, for the Purpofes in this Aft expreffed, and fubjeft to fuch Redemption as is hereby prefcribed concerning the fame. And it is hereby alio enafted by the Authority aforefaid, that all the Monies which, from and after Plantation Du- the faid Feaft-Day of Saint Michael the Archangel in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and tles ' fifteen, fhall arife by the Duties which in and by an Aft of Parliament made and paffed in the five and twentieth Year of the Reign of King Charles the Second (of bleffed Memory) intituled, An Afl for the 25 Car. 2. c. 7, .Encouragement of the Greenland and Eaftland Trades, and for the better Jecuring the Plantation Trade, were granted to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors for ever, commonly called the Plantation Duties (the ne- ceffary Charges of raifing and paying the fame excepted) fliall alfo be brought and paid, from Time to Time, into the faid Receipt of Exchequer, for the Purpofes in this Aft expreffed, and be liable to fuck Redemption as is herein after prefcribed in that Behalf. V. And be it likewife enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That the feveral and refpeftive Duties, which Duty on Hsps- in and by an Aft of Parliament made in the ninth Year of the Reign of her faid late Majefty Queen Anne, 9 Ann*, c. 12, intituled, An Acl for laying a Duty upon Hops, were impofed upon all Hops, which at any Time or Times ™" r tln within or during the Term of four Years, reckoned from the firft Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and eleven, fhould be imported or brought into the Kingdom of Great Britain, and for and upon all Hops growing in Great Britain, which, at any Time or j[ imes within or during the faid Term of four Years, fhould be cured and made fit for Ufe (which Duties by an Aft of the prefent Seffion of Parliament are continued until the firft Day of Auguft one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen) fhall be and are hereby further continued, and fhall be paid and payable to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors for ever, for and upon all Hops which, at any Time or Times from and after the laft Day of July one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen, fhall be imported or brought into the Kingdom of Great Britain^ and for and upon ail. Hops growing and to grow in Great Britain, which, at any Time or Times after the faid laft Day of July one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen, fhall be cured and made fit for Ufe ; the fame Duties to be charged, afcertained, fecured, collefted, levied and paid, by fuch Rules, Ways, Means and Methods, and with fuch Drawbacks and Allowances, and under fuch Penalties and Forfeitures, and in fuch Manner and Form, as the faid Duties on Hops by the two Afts laft mentioned, or either of them, or by any other Aft or Afts of Parliament thereby referred unto, were enafted or direfted to be charged, afcertained, fecured, collefted, levied and paid ; and that all and every the Claufes, Power?, Direftions, Penalties, and Forfei- tures, Provifoes, Matters and Things contained in the faid former Afts concerning Hops, or either of them, for fecuring, raifing or levying the Duties on Hops thereby granted or continued, or for encoura- ging the Exportation of Briti/h Hops for Ireland, or for reftraining the Ufe of bifct-r Ingredients inftead of.' Hops, or touching or concerning Hops of foreign Grov/th, or otherwife relating to Hops, fhall be and. are hereby revived, and fhall continue for ever in full Force and Vigour, for fecuring, raifing, and levying the Duties upon Plops, hereby granted and continued, and for encouraging the Exportation of Britifl) Hops to Ireland, and for reftraining the Ufe of bitter Ingredients inftead e>f Hops, and for all other Purpofes whatfoever in relation to Hops, as if the fame Claufes, Powers, Direftions, Penalties, and Forfeitures, Provifoes, Matters, and Things were particularly repeated and again enafted in die Body of. this prefent.
