Years of her faid late Majefty's Reign, and over and above fo much as purfuant to the true Meaning of 6 Ann. c. 5. th fe Ads, or any of them, is to be referved for Payment of any of the Annuities thereupon purchafed (which Surplus Monies were intended by the faid Act of the fixth' Year of her faid late Majefty's Reign, to be difpofed, from Time to Time, for the publick Ufe and Service, and not otherwife) and all the Ar- rears of the faid Duties and Revenues charged with the faid Annuities and Payments by the fame Afts of the fourth, fifth and fixth Years of her late Majefty's Reign, which fhall or may arife by virtue of the Grants thereof, for the feveral Terras aforefaid, after all the Annuities and Payments charged thereupon, fhall be expired, determined, and fuily difcharged and paid off", ihall from Time to Time be fet apart, and the fame are hereby appropriated, and fhall be ifTued and applied to and for the feveral Ufes and Purpofes in this pre.fent Aft declared of and concerning the fame, and to none other Ufe, Intent, or Purpofe what- foever, fubjeft rievertheiefs to fuch Redemption as is herein after provided in that Behalf. c VIII. And whereas the Duties and Revenues contained in the faid Afts of the fourth, fifth and fixth ' Years of her faid late Majefty's Reign, whereupon the faid Surplus or Overplus Monies are, from Time ( to Time, to arife for the Ufes and Purpofes in this Act intended, are temporary, being granted only for ' fuch Terms of Years as are before-mentioned : Now for the better eftablifhing a fure and lafting Fund c to anfwer all the faid Ufes and Purpofes hereby intended, fubjeft neverthelefs to fuch Redemption as is The one Third ' hereby prefcribed;' Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That fuch or the like additional Subfidy 4 Ann. fty's Reign was further continued for one Year, to take Effect after the Expiration of the faid Term of one Year laft before-mentioned, fhall after the Expiration of the faid feveral Terms fo granted therein, have further Continuance, and be paid and Dayable to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffbrs for ever : Duties of Excife, And that fuch or the like Rates and Duties of Excife, which by the faid Act of the fourth Year of her late 4 Ann. c. 6.
