And atfo excepted out of this Aft, all Offences committed or dojie contrary to an Aft of Parliament, made in the fifth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George the Firft, of glorious Memory, in- 50^0. i.e. 21. tituled, An ASi for the better fecuring the lawful Trade of his Majefty s Subjeils to and from ?/;^ Eaft-Indies, and for the more effeEiiial preventing all his Majefty s Suhjeiis trading thither under Foreign Cotnmiffions ; or con- trary to an KSi of Parliament made in the feventh Year of his faid late Majefty King George the Firft-, 7 Geo. i, c. 21, of glorious Memory, intituled, An A£l for the further preventing his Aiajeflys SuhjeSts from trading to the Ealt Indies under Foreign CommiJJions, and for encouraging and further jecuring the laivful Trade thereto ; and for further regulating tl:e Pilots of Dover, Deal, and the Ife of Thanet ; and all Forfeitures and Penalties which any Perfon or Perfons is, are, or may be liable to, by reafon of any of the Offences committed againft either of the faid A6ls, or contrary to any other Afts of Parliament made for the afcertaining, fecu- ring, or improving the Trade of the Eafl India Company to and in the Eajl Indies. XLIIL And alfo excepted all and fingular Accounts of all and every Colledfor and Colledtors, Commif- Accounts of fioners, Treafurers, Receivers, or other Officers, or other Accountant whatfoever, who have received or Officers. coUefled, or are any other way accountable to his Majefty for any the Cuftoms, Subfidies, Impofitions, Excifes, Duties, Land-taxes, Poll-money, Rents, or other Matters before-mentioned, or for Prize Goods, or for any other Tax, Afleflment, Duty, Lnpofition, Debt, Sum of Money, or other Things whatfoever, given to the King's Majefty, or leviable by Adt of Parliament, or otherwife belons;ing to his Majefty ; and all Accounts of every other Perfon whatfoever, that ought to be Accountant to the King's Majefty, for or in refpeiSt of any Receipt or other Charge, and the Heirs, Executors, Adminiftrators and Sureties ol^ any Per- fon that ought to account, for all Things touching only the fame Accounts, and all and fingular Arrearages of Accounts, and all Impetitions, Charges, Seizures, Suits, Demands and Executions, which may or can be had of or for any fuch Account or Accounts, or any Arrearages of the fame. XLIV. And alfo excepted all Recognizances, Obligations, and other Securities given or entered into by Securities of Rw any Receiver of any Land-tax, or other Duties or Impofitions, or any other Sums of Money whatfoever, ceivers. due or payable to his Majefty by Aft of Parliament, or otherwife, or by any Reeve, Bailiff, Colleftor, or other Accountant, in either of the Courts of Exchequer in England ov Scotland, or given or entered into by any Perfon or Perfons impowered or permitted by any fuch Receiver, Reeve, Bailiff, Colleftor, or other Accountant, to have or receive any Sum or Sums of Money arifing from the Land-tax, or other Duties or Impofitions, or any other Sums of Money whatfoever, due or payable to his Majefty by Aft of Parliament, or otherwife, and their Sureties, and their Accounts refpeftively, and all other Recognizances and Obliga- tions whatfoever, with or upon Condition to account, or for Payment of Money ; and all Obligations, or other Securities given or entered into by any Officer or Officers of any of the Revenues of his Majefty, er any of his Royal PredecefTors, or their Sureties, for the true Difcharge of his or their Trufts. XLV, And it is hereby declared and enafted, That this Aft Ihall not extend, or be conftrued to pardon Debts due to the or difcharge any Recognizance or Obligation not yet forfeited, nor to pardon or difcharge any forfeited Re- Crown, cognizance or Obligation, or any other Forfeiture or Penalty, whereof any Perfon or Perfons who are or have been Farmers or Tackfmen of any Part of the publick Revenue, ought to receive any Benefit or Ad- vantage ; nor to pardon or difcharge any Debt due by any Recognizance or Obligation, or otherwife, to any Perfon or Perfons indebted to the Crown, which hath been duly feized in Aid of the Crown's Debt ; nor to pardon or difcharge any Debt due by Recognizance, Obligations, Condemnation, or otherwife, whereupon any Eftalment or Seizure has been at any Time heteto^ore made, upon which Eflalment or Seizure any thing is, or at any Time fince the twenty- fourth Day of July one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-one, hath been anfwered and paid ; nor to pardon or difcharge any Penalties, Forfeitures or Sums of Mopey due or accrued to his Majefty by reafon of any Aft, Statute or Statutes, which Forfeitures, Penalties, and Sums of Money, fince the faid twenty-fourth Day oifuly one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-one, be con- verted into the Nature of any Debt by Judgment, Order or Decree, or by the Agreement of the Offender or Offenders, or have been eftalledi or any Seizure made for the fame, and upon fuch Seizure or Eftahnent, any thing anfwered or paid fince the faid twenty-fourth Day oVJuly one thoufand feven hundred and twenty- one ; nor to extend, or be conftrued to pardon or difcharge any Recognizance which hath been entered into, and forfeited for or on account of any Crimes, or other Matters, vi'hich by this Aft are excepted or fore- prized out of this Pardon.
