fhall be deemed to be, and they are accordingly, from henceforth, fettled upon and veiled in the faid Jrchi- bald Hamilton, Charles Smith, James Gunman, 'iAx JohnThompfon, Sir James Creed, Peter Burr ell, JVilUam Faiukener, William Baxter, Edivard Fernon, Thojnas Ripley, David Cockbiirn, James Spilman, TVilUam Allix, Fitzwilliam Plumptre, JVilUam Young and Francis Danjays, their Heirs and Affigns, to the Ufe of them, their Heirs and Affigns for ever, in 1 ruft neverthelefs for themfelves and the reft of the Commiffioners, or Governors and Directors for the time being of the faid Royal Hofpital, for and towards finifhing and com- pleting the Building of the faid Royal Hoi'pital ; and after the Building of the fame fhall be completed and finiftied, for and towards the Support of the faid Royal Hofpital for the better Maintenance of the Seamen of the faid Hofpital, worn out and become decrepit in the Service of their Country, freed and abfolutely difcharged of and from all fuch Right, Title, Eflate, Intereft, Claim and Demand, as was vefted in his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, by virtue of the feveral Attainders herein before-mentioned, or of the faid feveral A6ls of Parliament herein before recited, or any of them, or otherwife howfoever, and freed and abfolutely difcharged of and from all fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Interell, Claim or Demand, as any other Perfon or Perfons whatfoever hath or have, or may or can have, in or to the faid laft mentioned Ala- nors, Meffuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments, or in or to any Part or Parcel thereof, upon any Account howfoever, fave as herein after is mentioned. III. And it is hereby enadled. That the faid Archibald Hafnilton, Charles Smith, James Gunman, Sir Johi: Thotnpfon, Sir: James Creed, Peter Burrel, IVilUam Faiukener, JVilUam Baxter, Echuard Vernon, Thomas Rip- ley, David Cockburn, James Spilman, JVilUam Allix, Fitzzv'iUiam Plumptre, JVilUam Young and Francis Dan- fays, their Heirs and Affigns, fliall, in Truft as aforefaid, but fubjeft to the faid Term of five hundred Years (as to the Premiffes comprized in the faid Settlement of the twenty-fourth Day of June one thouland feven hundred and twelve, and as the fame is herein before created and limited) hold and enjoy all and fin- gular the Manors, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments, comprized in the faid Settlements of the twen- ty-fourth Day of March one thoufand fix hundred and ninety-one, and the twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and twelve, and which are herein before vefted or mentioned to be vefted in them the fad Archibald Hamilton, Charles Smith, James Gunman, Sir John Thompfon, Sh James Creed, Peter Bi/r- rell, JVilUam Fawkener, JVilUam Baxter, Edivard J^ernon, ThonuTS Ripley, David Cockburn, James Spilman JVilUam Allix, Fit%tvilUam Plumptre, JVilUam Young and Francis Danjays ; and the fame fhall be and be deemed to be held of the King's Majelty, his Heirs and Succeffors, as of his Majefty's Manor of EaJl Greenwich in the County of Kent, by free and common Soccage Tenure ; but neverthelefs the laid Manors, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments fliall be and fliall be deemed to be lubjeci to fuch Quit-Rents, Crown-Rer.ts and Dutchy-Rents iflliing thereout refpedively, as the fame were refpedively liable to on the twenty-third of June one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen. IV. And it isalfo hereby enadted and declared, That the prelent or future Commiffioners, or Governors and Dircftors of the faid Royal Hofpital at Greenwich, or any of them, fhall not be anfwerable or account- able to any Perfon or Perfons, other than to the fiiid Royal Hofpital, for or in refpect of all or any Part of the Rents, Iffues and Profits of the Manois, Lands, Tenem.ents and Hereditaments, comprized in the faid recited Indentures of Leafe and Releafe of the twenty-third and twenty-fourth Days of June one thoufand feven hundred and twelve, which accrued or became due from the Death of the faid Charles RadcUfe, and which have already been, or fliall hereafter be received by them, or any of them, except by l.iym"- fuch Accounts before his Majefty, and both Houfes of Parliament, as by the laid recited Act of the ei^htrTVear of his prefent Majefty's Reign is direded ; but that all fuch Rents, Iffues and Profits, and all J'iiies and Sums of Money which accrued or became due or payable from the Death of the faid Charles Ra.lcUif,; fhall be appropriated and applied to the Ufes, and for the Purpofcs, in the fiid Acl of the eighth Yetir of his prefent Majefty's Reign mentioned, and herein before recited ; neverthelefs they the faid Commiffioners, or Governors and Dircftors for the time being, fhall, from time to time, lay the Accounts of their Receipts, Payments and Difourfements before his Majefty, and both Houfes of Parliament, as by the faid recited Acl of the eighth of his prefent Majefty is diredcd, as well with rcfpecf to the Manors, Lands and Heredita- ments, comprized in the (aid Settlement of the twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand (even hundred and twelve, as v.'ith refpeiSf to the Manors, Lands and Flereditamcnts, .comprized ill the laid Settlement of the twenty-fourth Day of Alarch one thoufand fix hundred and ninety-one.
