XXir. And it is hereby enaflred. That it fliall and may be lawful to and for the faid Commiffioncrs, or TheComrr.if- Governors and Direfuors of the faid Hofpital, or any feven or more of them, at any Time or Times here- fioners impower- after, to agree with any Perfon or Perfons who ihall be intitled to all or any Part of the Principal R^oney ed to agree with to be levied and raifed by virtue of this A&., or the Interefl thereof, for any lefs Rate or Intereft for fuch Prin- "= ^"""' °' (Cipal Money, than is hereby made payable for the fame, or than the fame fliall or may be levied and raifed jj^jj^^ft "' ^^ at •, and in cafe the Perfon or Perfons who fhall be intitled thereto fhall not fo agree, then to agree v/ith any other Perfon or Perfons for the advancing Money at any lefs Rate or Intereft than aforefaid, for paying ofF all or any Part of the Principal Money hereby direfled to be levied and raifed ; and then and in that Cafe, the Principal Money which fhall be fo paid off, and the Securities for the fame, fliall be affigned to the Per- fon or Perfons who ihall advance fuch Money, provided that fuch Afiignment fhall be made for the refpeiPcive Principal Money only that fliall be fo paid off, and for the Interefl of fuch Principal Money to grow due from and after the making of fuch Alignments refpeflively ; and that the faid Principal Money, and the In- terefl: thereof in all fuch AfTignments, fliall be made payable at the End of fix Months at the fartheft, from the Day of the making fuch Affignrnents refpeflively. XXIII. And it is hereby further enatled, That the Receipt or Receipts of the faid Charles Duke of Rich- Tniftees to give pio77d and Lenox, and Henry Fox, or the Survivor of them, or the Executors or Adminiflrators of fuch Sur- Receipts, vivor, under his or their Plands refpe£tively, fliall be a good and effedlual Difbharge to the Perfon and Per- fonsyto whom any Demifeor Mortgage fliall be made in purfuance of this Aft, for fuch Sum and Sums of Money for which fuch Receipt or Receipts fliall be given ; and after fuch Receipt or Receipts fliall be fo given, fuch Perfon and Perfons fhall be, and are hereby abfolutely acquitted and difcharged of and from the fame ; and they, or any of them, after fuch Receipt or P^.eceipts given, fhall not be anfwerable or ac- countable for any Lofs, Mifapplication, or Nonapplication of the faid Money, or any Part thereof. XXIV. Provided always, and it is hereby further enafted and declared. That the faid C/j.jr/t's- Duke of No Trufiee to Richmond and Lenox, and Henry Fox, or the Survivor of them, or the Executors or Adminiftratois of either be accountable of them, fhall not be anAverable nor accountable for any Sum or Sums of Money to be received by them, for more than or any of them, under the Trufts hereby created and declared, any otherwife than each Perlbn for fuch ^^'^ '^'; "','" Sum or Suras of Money as he fliall refpedtively actually receive ; and that no one of them fliall be anfwer- '•P"^^ ^ °' able or accountable for the Adls, Receipts, Neglefls or Defaults of the other of them, nor for any Lofs or Damage that fliall or may happen by or in placing out the faid Principal Sum of twenty-four thoufand Pounds, or any Part thereof, at Interefl, or by or in depofiting the fame with any Perfon or Perfons, or ia any Place or Places, for fafe Cuftody, until the fame fliall, from time to time, be placed out as aforefaid, un- lefs fuch Lofs or Damage fhall happen by or through their voluntary or wilful Default. XXV. And it is hereby alfo enacSed, That they the faid Charles Duke of Pdchmond and Lenox, and Ttuflees to re- Henry Fox, and each of them, and their and each of their Executors and Adminiflrators, out of the Prin- imburfe them- cipal Money which fliall come to their or any of their Hands, or the Intereft, Dividends and Proceed thereof, felves, fliall be allowed, and retain to and reimburfe themfelves all fuch Cofts, Charges, Damages and Expences, as they fliall or may refpedtively fuftain, be at, or put unto, in or about the Execution of all or any of the' Trufts hereby in them repofed. XXVI. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That this kBc, and every Claufe, Matter Publick AS." and Thing herein contained, fliall by all and every Judge and Judges, and other Perfon and Pcrlbns, be' conftrued and adjudged as largely and beneficially in all Courts of Law and Equity, and all other Places, as' can be for the Ends and Purpofes herein expreffed, and the fame is hereby declared to be a publick Aft of Parliament, and all Judges and Juftices are hereby required to take Notice thereof as fuch, without fpecial Pleading the fame.
