Chief Clerk of his Heirs or Succeffors for the Time being, without any further or other Warrant to be fucd for, had or obtained in that Behalf, fhall and may, from Time to Time, iffue the fame at the refpective Half-yearly or other Days of Payment, whercon the fame fhall becor.e due and payable at the faid Receipt of Exche- quer, to the first or Chief Cafhier or Caſhiers of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, and their Succeflors for the Time being, by way of Impreft and upon Account, for the Purpoſes above-men- tioned; and that all and every fach Cafluier or Calhiers, to whom the faid Money fhall from Time to Time be iflued, fhall without Delay, apply and pay the fame accordingly, and render his Account thereof a cording to the due Courie of the Exchequer, any Thing herein before contained to the contrary not- withftinding. 9 Geo. z. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That from and after the faid twenty-fourth were appropriated Day of fune one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-two, all the faid Rates, Duties, Impofitions or Reve- to the Annuitics, nutes, granted and appropriated by the faid feveral and reſpective Acts herein before-recited, for Payment made Part of the of the faid feveral and relpective Annuities transferrable at the Bank of England, as aforefaid, fhall be carried to, and made Part of the faid Sinking Fund (after referving fufficient to pay the Annuities for Lives at the Exchequer, and other Charges and Incumbrances charged on the faid Duties and Revenues) and the fame fhall be deemed and taken to be Part of the faid Sinking Fund, and ſhall be iſſued and applied to fuch Ufes and Purpoſes, as all and every other the Surplus Funds, Duties and Revenues, compoling the faid Sinking Fund, are or may be iflued and applied, any Thing in any former Act or Acts of Parliament to the contrary thercof in any wife notwithſtanding. 6 ( VI. And whereas by and in purſuance of two feveral Acts of Parliament, made and paffed in the ninth and eleventh Years of his Majelty's Reign, certain Annuities, after the Rate of three Pounds pr Centum per Annum, were created and made payable at the faid Receipt of Exchequer, out of the Sinking Proprietors of the Fund, amounting to the principal Sum of nine hundred thoufand Pounds, for which Tallies and Orders were made out at the faid Receipt; and as the Proprietors of the faid Tallics and Orders may be defirous to fubfcribe the fame into the faid Joint Stock of Annuities, after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Annum; Be it therefore enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Proprietors may, at any Time between the faid twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-two, and the into the Joint faid fifth Day of January one thouſand feven hundred and fifty-three, fubfcribe the fame into the faid Joint Stock of Annuities accordingly. 31. per Cent. Annuities, 6 C granted by Acts & JI Geo. 2, may fubfcribe Stock, 8 Geo. 2. c. 12. VII. And whereas by and in purſuance of one other Act made and paffed in the eighth Year of his Majefty's Reign, certain Orders for Annuities after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Annum, were "made forth at the faid Receipt of Exchequer, payable out of the General Fund, in lieu of Debentures "made forth to the Sufferers of Nevis and Saint Chriftophers, to the Amount of one hundred forty-one thoufand ninety-three Pounds fifteen Shillings and one Penny Farthing; whereof there now remains the Sum of thirty-feven thoufand cight hundred twenty-one Pounds five Snillings and one Penny Farthing,' Be it therefore enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Proprietors of the faid Orders may, at any The Proprietors Time between the faid twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-two, and the of the 31. per faid fifth Day of January one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-three, fubfcribe the faid Annuity Or- Pent. And be it enacted, That all and every Perfon or Perfons, Bodics Politick or Corporate, who fhall fubfcribe their faid Orders into the Joint Stock of Annuities aforefaid, fhall be immediately in- titled to the Privilege of transferring fuch Annuities, as Part of the faid Joint Stock of Annuities, from the faid twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-two, as aforefaid. IX. And be it further enacted, That fuch of the faid Orders that fhall be fo fubfcribed, which are now made payable Half-yearly at Michaelmas and Lady-day, fhall be paid by the Quarter, to grow due from Lady-day one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-two to Midfummer following; any Thing in any former Act to the contrary thercof in any wife notwithſtanding. X. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Governor and Company of the Bank of England fhall, and they are hereby required to caufe fuch Books to be prepared as fhall be necellary for receiving the Subfcription or Confent of fuch of the Proprietors of the feveral and reſpective Annuities,. after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum pr Annum, transferrable at their Office, and alfo of the Proprie- tors of the feveral Annuities, Tallies and Orders payable at the Exchequer out of the Sinking Fund, as alfo of the feveral Proprictors of the Annuities and Orders payable at the Exchequer out of the General Fund, as fhall fubfcribe the fame into the Joint Stock of Annuities before mentioned; which Books fhall to be open from be conſtantly kept open at the Bank of England for that Purpofe every Day, Sundays and Holidays only 24 June 1752, excepted, from the faid twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-two to the faid to 25 Jan. 1753, fifth Day of January one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-three inclufive, and no longer; fubject never- §. 6. the the lefs to fuch further Directions, with reſpect to the taking in or receiving fuch Subfcriptions or Confent That is enlarged, from the Proprietors of the faid Annuities, after the faid Raic of three Pounds per Centum fer Annun, as except the Trea- fhall or may be given by the Commithioners of the Treafury, or any three or more of them now being, or fury fhall allow by the High Treafurer, or any three or more of the Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, Time.
