' TT THERE A S divers of his Majefly's Ships or Veflels are at prefent, and may hereafter be occa- ' W fionally employed in and upon certain Lakes, great Waters, or Rivers, in North America, not ' within the Body or any County atflually fettled by the King's Subjefts, and under the regular Goveru- ' ment of his Laws and Courts, although the fame may be within his Majefly's Dominions :' Now in order to obviate any Doubts which may arife touching the good Regulation and Government of all fuch Officers, Seamen and others, as do, or for the Time being, (hall ferve on Board of any of his Majefty's faid Ships or Vefiels fo employed as aforefaid; Be it enacted by the King's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament aflembled, and by the Authority of the fame. That a certain A(5t of Parliament made in zz Geo. i. c, ^j* the twenty-fecond Year of the Reign of his prefent Majefty (intituled. of all and every, or any fuch Offences or Offence fpecified or mentioned in the fame Adt of Parliament, America. which have been or fhall be committed by any Officers, Seamen or other Perfons refpedtively, who do, or for the Time being, fhall ferve on Board of any of his Majefty's faid Ships or Veffels employed in or upon fuch Lakes, great Waters, or Rivers, in North America, as Fully and effeftually, to all Intents and Purpofes, as if the fame Offences or Offence had been committed upon the main Sea, or in great Rivers, beneath the firft Bridges of the faid Rivers, nigh to the Sea, or in any Haven, River or Creek within the Jurifdidtion of the Admiralty of Great Britain, CAP. XXVIIL An Aft for reviving and continuing an Aft for the Relief of Debtors, with Refpeft to the Imprifonment of their Perfons ; and for continuing an Aft made in the laft SefTion of Parliament, to continue feveral Laws relating to the Diflemper now raging among the horned Cattle in this Kingdom. ' TT/ HE RE AS feveral Laws herein after-mentioned have by Experience been found ufeful and ' W beneficial, and are expired, or near expiring;' May it therefore pleafe your Majefly, that it may be enacfed; and be it enaded by the King's moll Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Con- tent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament aiTembled, and by the Authority of the fame.
