XXVIIL And as to the faid Sum of twenty-nine thoufand nine hundred fourteen Pounds fifteen Shillings aind ten Pence by this Act appropriated on Account of Half-pay, as aforeiaid ; It is hereby enafled and dcr Rules to be ob- clared by the Authority aforefaid, That the Rules herein after prefcribed fhall be duly obferved in the Ap- ^"'^!' That no Perfon fhall have or receive any Part of the fame, who was a theH"l'f-°p"v Minor and under the Ageof fixteen Years, at the Time when the Regiment, Troop or Company, in which .s,,j2i Qa. z. hi ferved was reduced ; that no Perfon fnall have or receive any Part of the fame, except fuch Perfons who c zi.fia. 35. did acStual Service in fome Regiment, Troop or Company; that no Perfon having any other Place or Em- pl'iyment of Profi', Civil or R/Jilitary, under his Majefty, flaall have or receive any Part of the faid Half-^ pay; that no Chaplain of any Garrifon or Rcj,imenr, who has any Ecclefiafiical Benefice in Great Britain^ or Ireland, fhall have or receixe any Part of the faid Half-pay ; that no Perfon fhall have or receive any Part of the fame, who has refigned his Commillion, and has had no Commhrion fince ; that no Part of the fame Ih.ill be allowed to any Perfon by virtue of any Warrant or Appointment, except to fuch Perfons who v/ould have been otherv/ife intitled to the fame as reduced Officers; and that no Part of the fame fhall be allowed to any of the Ofiicers of the five Regiments of Dragoons, and eight Regiments of Foot lately dif- banded in Ireland, except to fuch as were lately taken ofi^ the Efi:ablifhment of Half-pay in Great Britain, ■ ' XXIX; And whereas by an KGi of Parliament made in the nineteenth Year of his Majefty 's Reign, 19 Geo, 2. c 37, ' (intituled.
