HOW FILIPPO AND ADRIAEN AND MICHAEL DIVIDED NUMBERS

“Since this is the last story,” began the Story-Teller —

“But it is n’t the last,” broke in the Crowd.

“Positively the last,” said the Story-Teller with great emphasis, “unless —”

“Unless what?” asked two or three voices.

“Well, you know there's the Question Box,” replied the Story-Teller, “and I don't believe one of you has answered all the questions.”

“But we can answer them, you know, and we have three or four nights before we go home,” said the Tease.

“Three or four! Do you think I am an encyclopedia? At any rate, let us finish up
