Life-Saving Service The Life-Saving establishment, at the close of the fiscal year, embraced 264 stations, of which number 192 were situated on the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico, 50 on the American coasts of the Great Lakes, 1 at the Falls of the Ohio River, Louisville, Ky., and 15 on the Pacific Coast.
