Register of the Treasury.—Judson W. Lyons. Signs and issues all bonds and all transfers conveying money from the United States Treasury to all sub-treasuries and depositories; he receives, examines, arranges, and registers all redeemed United States notes, gold certificates, silver certificates, Treasury notes, and all other evidences of issue. In his bureau there are the Division of Loans and the Division of Notes, Coupons, and Currency.
Comptroller of the Currency.—Charles G. Dawes. Has the supervision, under the direction of the Secretary of the Treasury, of national banks. In this bureau are the Division of Organization, of Issue, of Reports, and of Redemption.
Director of the Mint.—George E. Roberts. Has general supervision of all the mints and assay offices of the United States. All tests of the weight and fineness of coins struck at the various mints are under his charge, and he determines the values of standard coins of foreign countries.

Commissioner of Internal Revenue.—George W. Wilson. Makes assessment of and has general superintendence of the collection of all internal revenue taxes, and of the enforcement of internal revenue laws. In this bureau are the Division of Appointments, of Law, of Tobacco, of Accounts, of Distilled Spirits, of Stamps, of Assessments, of Revenue Agents, and of Chemistry.
