Production and Industry. I.— AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY.
The cultivation of the soil is the head of the industries of Hungary, since (if we inchide the forests) it furnishes employment to 60 '55 per cent, of the ])opulation ; and if family and house servants he included, the proportion rises to 62 '45 per cent.
