O my God, I thank Thee that Thou hast called me to the knowledge of Thy holy law, while so many of my fellow-creatures are left in darkness and ignorance. I desire to receive with all my heart Thy divine commandments, and to hear with reverence the lessons which Thou addressest to us by the mouth of Thy prophets and apostles. Give me grace, O my God, not only to know Thy will, but also to do it.
