Of the Art of Diſtillation.

let them ſtand in a wooden veſſell, which thou must then ſet in ſome warme place neer the fire ſide for the ſpace of a weeke, then diſtill them in a hot Still, or Alembick.
- Shewes the braſſe kettle full of water.
- The cover of the kettle perforated in two places, to give paſſage forth to the Veſſels.
- A pipe or Chimney added to the kettle, wherein the fire is contained to heat the water.
- The Alembeck conſeſting of its body and head.
- The receiver whereinto the diſtilled liquor runs.
