Ch, Baron of the Exchequer, 1661-75. This Sarah Qarth, on the death (1 Aug. 1726) of her maternal uncle, Charles Turnour, abovenamed, and the extinction of his issue, became the representatiTC of her maternal grandfather, Sir Edward Tumour, and, under the will of her cousin, Edward Turnour, of Shillinglee Park afsd. («. and h. of Arthur Tumour of the same, who d. 4 April 1724, being a yr. br.'of the said Sir Edward) the inheritrix of that estate on the death of the said Kdward, 9,p, 1786. On her death, 22 Sep. 1744, she was sue. by her son, Edward-Tumour Garth, above- named, who, accordingly, took the name of Tumour as a final surname.
