He was made K.B., with Prince Arthur, in I486, and K.GL 23 April 1525. He assisted at the coronation (May 1533) of Queen Anne Boleyn, and subsequently (1536 J at her trial. He obtained, at the reformation, the grant of the priory of Miehelhiuu and numerous lands formerly belonging to the Priory of Lewes.
