Dorothy, da. and coheir of Richard Bennet, of Eew Greeu, Surrey, br. to Sir Thomas Bennet, Bart., of Babraham. Westmeath [I.] He was sometime Comptroller "I the Household to James I, by whom he Was Bent Oil I special embassy til Spain. By Charles I he was raised to the Earldom of Carbery [I.] in 1028 as above. He m. firstly, Margaret, da. of Sir Gilly MeyiUOK. He m. secondly Jane, da. of Sir Thomas Palmer, who appears also to have d. before him. Nuncupative will directing that he should be bur. at Llandillowaue, dat. 29 April 1031 pr. 23 May 1039.
