The description of her, by Miss Burney, in 1782, as " very short, very fat, but handsome, splendidly and fantastically dressed, rouged not unbecomingly, &c," ends with the sarcastic remark that " her rage of seeing anything curious may be satisfied, if she pleases, by looking in a mirror."
