Kent), and by another Royal lie, 16 Sep. 1823, was authorised to subscribe the name of Mann before all titles of honour. He m. firstly, 18 Dec. 1804, at her father's house in Saville Row, St. James', Westm., Maria Isnbella 1 , da. of Francis Dickens, of Woollastoii House, co. Northampton. She (/. 16 Jany. 1823. Gen.l, Julia, 4th da. of Thomas Bacon, of Redlaiids, Berks. She m. 27 Aug. 1862, William Archer Amherst, styled Viscount Holmesdale (after- wards, 1886, Earl Amherst) and d. s.p: 1 Sep. 1883. On her death the Mann estates devolved on the issue of Lady Jemima Wykeham-Martin, da. of the Earl by his 1st wife, and his only child that left issue.
