He was aged six years at hi.s grand- father's death in 1616 and was on 2 Aug. 1628, rr. VISCOUNT ASCOTT, co. Buckingham, and EARL OF CARNARVON. He was slain at Newbury [ex parte Regis) 20 Sep. 1643. III. 1643. 3. Charles (Dormer), Karl of CARNARVON, Vis- count Ascott, and Baron Dormer of Wyno, only s. and h., b. 25 Oct. 1632. Derby, which Robert was s. and h. of the Hon. Anthony Dormer, of Grove l'ark, afsd., 2d son of the 1st Baron. He d. num. 27 Sep. 1712, aged 61, and was bur. at Budbroke, co. Warwick. M.I. V 1712. 5. Charles (Dormer), Baron Dormer of WtNQ, cousin and h. male, being ft and h. of Charles Dormer of Peterley, Bucks, bv Mary, da. of ( ) Cki.lif.r, which Charles (d. 1677), was 4th s. of the Hon. Robert Dormer of Peterley afsd., (d. 1651) 3d s. of the 1st Baron. He, who was b. 22 April 166S, m. firstly, Catherine, da. and coheir of Edmund FsTTIPLAOB of Swincombe, Oxon. Hem. secondly, 7 June 1601, Elizabeth, da. of Richard Biddulph of Biddulph, by Ann, da. of Sir Henry Goring, Bart. Ho d. 2 July 1728, and was bur. at Great Missenden, Eucks. His widow d. at Plowden, and was bur. at Ledbury. VI. 1728. 6. Charles (Dormer). Baron Dormer of Wtno, s. and h. by 1st wife. He wits a Priest in the Church of Rome and never assumed the title. He d. unm., 7 March 1 761, and was bur. at Great Missenden. VII. 1761. 7. John (Dormer), Baron Dormer of "Wyng, next br. (of the whole blood) and h., b. 2 June 1601. He was of Grove Park, co. Wanvick and of Peterley, Bucks. He m., Mary, da. of Sir Cecil RlSHOPP, 3d Eart., bv Elizabeth, da. and h. of Henry Ddnch. She d, 29 Oct., and was 6iir. 2 Nov. 1739, at Great Missenden. He d. 7 Oct. 1785, aged 94. VIII. 1785. 8. Charles (Dormer), Baron Dormer of Wyno, s. and h., b. 30 April 1725, at Parham, Sussex. He m. firstly, 9 Aug. 1759, Mnry, sister of George, 15th Earl of Shrkwsiiury, da. of George Tai.bot, by Mary, da. of Thomas (Fitzwilltam), 4th Viscount Fitzwilliam of Merrion [I]. She, who was b. 18 Aug. 1723, at Isleworth, Midx., d. 18 May 1753, and was bur. at Great Missenden. Ho m. secondly, 23 Jan. 1768, at St. Geo. Han. sq., Elizabeth, widow of Lieut. Col. the Hon. John Mordaunt, da. of Samuel Hamilton. She d. 15 Sep. 1797. He d. 30 March, and was bur. 6 April 1804, aged 78, at Bath Abbey. M.I. IX. 1804. 9. Charles (Dormer), Baron Dormer of Wyng, 2d but 1st Eurv. s. and h., by 1st wife. b. 10 Jan. 1753, at Peterley. He d. unm. 2 April 1819. X. 1819. 10. John-Evelyn-Pierrepont (Dormer), Baron Dormer of Wyno, br. of the half blood and h., being s. of the 8th Baron, by his 2d wife. He was b.
