III. to himself and his br. Reginald, in tail male, with rem. to Edward St. John, and having died (1356), 30 Ed. III., after which the said Edward St. John of Scopham and Joan his wife became in (1382-83), 6 Ric. II., seized of the same. (B) It is not improbable that John and Andrew Fitz-Roger were brothers of Robert Fitz-Roger, Lord of Clavering, who was sum. to Pari, as a Baron, 1295, but 4 years previously (See under " Clavering "), but their names do not occur in any reliable pedigree of that family.
