J s.p.s. 22 Sep. 1629, when the right to the Barony ! of Fitz-Walter devolved 011 the heir general (as under) but the Viscountcy of Fitz- Walter together ■with the Earldom of Sussex devolved on his cousin, the heir male of the grantee of those dignities (see under " Sussex "), both, however, becoming extinct on his death s.p. in Aug. 1043. [Henry Radoliff, styled Viscount Fitz-Walter, 1st s. and h. ap. by first wife, 6. about 1600. He m. about April 1613, at St. Barth. the Great, London, Jane, da. and coheir of Sir Michael Stanhofe, of Sudbury, co. Suffolk. He d. B.p. and v.p. 20 Nov. 1621. Inq. post mortem.
