William Herbert, s. and h. ap. of William, Earl of Pembroke, is said( :l ) to have been cr. v.p., Sep. 1466, BARON HERBERT OF DUNSTER(b) but there seems no good proof of such creation. He sue. his father, 27 July 1469 as Earl ok Pembroke. See that dignity, cr. 1468, under the 2d Earl.
