( b ) She was author of several poems, including one " On Mr. Pope's characters of women," for which she is praised in Uuncombe's " i'anincad " as " One Peeress more " (who; "demands a grateful tribute from all female hands," &c. ( c ) His vote at the keenly contested election for rep. peers [S ] 5 March 1721, was objected to, on the ground of his being a member of the House of Commons.
