He purchased the estate of Gauiston, co. Westmeath. He m. 23 April 1761, Alice, da. of James (Caulfeild), 3d Viscocnt Ciiahlemont [1.1, by Elizabeth, da. of Francis Bf.hnard, of Castle Bernard, co. He in Dublin, 13 Jan. 1873, aged 7S, and was bur. 18 in the family vault at the Neale. His widow, wdio was b. 21 Jan. 1816, d. 23 April 1888, aged 72, at 10 Melbury Road, Kensington.
