Stafford and EARL GRANV1LLE.(») He m. 24 Dec. 1S09, at Chiswiek, ( R ) The Grantee's great-great-grandmother, was Jane, da. of (whose issue became coheir to) John (Granville), Karl of Bath, As, however, he did not represent that lady, and appears to have inherited no property from her, and as the Earldom of Granville had been conferred on her sister (another such coheir), and inherited by ktr issue (now represented by the Marquess of Bath, and others), the choice of the title seems somewhat strange.
