He, or his late br., having been attainted by Will. Ill , the family estates were, by that King, granted to Henry (Sidney), Karl of Uoinuey, but were afterwards recovered by the Baruewall family. He m., in 1703, Mary, da. and h. of Sir John Bauxkwall, of Ballybrittan, King's county, a Baron of the Court of Exchequer [I.], by Thomasiue, da. of Anthony (Puks'toni, 2d ViscotNT Taua [I.j He </. 7 April 1710. Robert Harnewali,, generally considered to be BaRON Trimleston [I.], 1st s. and h. ; resided many years in France (where he practised as a Physician), but subsequently at Trimleston. He m. firstly Margaret, da. of James RfCHTORT, of Lorragh, co. Kiidare. He in. secondly Elisabeth, da. of (— ) Colt, of England. He d. 1779. His widow d. iu Dublin about 1782. Admen, March 1782. Thomas Barnewall, generally considered to be Confirmed BaRON Tiii.mi.kston [I.] (after the death of his father in 1779), 1795. 1st surv. s. aud h.iy) by first wife, which title was duly con- firmed to him, 3 March 1795. He, who was b. about 1736, is said to have been a " Knight of Malta." He conformed to the established religion, and ( a ) On the ground of no proof being made " that his ancestors were Lord Barons of Dunsany before the date " of 4 March (1401/2). 2 Ed. IV. It is, however, clear that the Lords Trimleston continued to do the latter, without any protests while as to sitting iu Pari. [I.], no Pari, was held from 1000 to 1092, save that of James II. in 1689, and iu that one the then Lord Trimleston was undoubtedly present.
