Besides this, in 1883, Louisa, the Dowager Baroness, had about 2,500 acres in Devon, about 2,000 in Cornwall and about 200 in Hants, as also about 28,500 in CO. Ross, which last named estate, though " of the nominal value of ;^i,885, practically produces no income. " Total (for this lady) about 33,000 acres worth about ;^ 6,000 a year.
