Brecknock. Total 17,399 acres, worth ;^i 6,3 79 a year. This, however, does not include the very valuable estate of Camden Town, in St. Pancras, Midx., first laid out in 1791, as Pratt, Jeffrey, Brecknock, and Bayham streets. "Camden Place," in Chislehurst, Kent, was purchased in 1609 by Camden, the famous antiquary, who d. there in 1623. It was purchased by Lord Chancellor Pratt, whose peerage title (*) An elder s., unbaptized, was h. and d. i Aug. x868.
