| 1 | Dorsal view of the type specimen [Palaeontology of N. Y., v. 3, pl. 83]. The swimming legs are taken from the counterpart, as in the original figure, and show the ventral side. The specimen shows the shape of the carapace, the position of the eyes, the walking and swimming legs and the dorsal side of the abdomen, except the last segment. The broad sternites appear on both sides of the tergites. The swimming leg exhibits all joints except the coxal joint and the broad lobelike extensions of the inner margin of the seventh joint.
