- ↑ Keshab Chunder Sen was the third great Brahmo Samaj leader after Raja Rammohun Roy. He was born in 1838 and died in 1884 a.d. In 1858 he became a member of the Adi Brahmo Samaj. In 1866 he founded a new branch under the name of Bharata- varshiya Brahmo Samaj, which was afterwards known as the church of the "New Dispensation." In 1870 he came to England to propagate his mission. He was an eloquent preacher and orator. He accepted a great many of the teachings of Ramakrishna and regarded Him as one who had constant communion with Brahman.
