ITEM, Becaufe it is heavelie murmured , that all Craftef-men of this Realme , and fpecially within Bur- row es , ufis fik extorfion upon uthers our Soveraine Lordis Lieges , be reafon of their craftes and privie actes and conftitutiones , maid amangeft themfelves , contrair the commoun weill , and in great hurte, pre- judice , damnage and skaith to all the Lieges of this Realme : Therefore it is ftatute and ordained , that in all times dimming , it fall be leafum to all our Soveraine Lordis Lieges , that lies ony bigginges or reparationes to be maid, for die making of policie in this Realme , outlier to Burgh or toLande, o chufe gude Craftef- men, free-men, or uthers, as he thinkis maift expedient , for ordouring , bigging, and ending of all fik warkes.
