FORS AMEIKLE As the conventuall Brethren and Channons of the Monaftrie of Santt-Androes were the auncient Chapter and Counfaill of the Arch-bifhop thereof, whanoware decaying, and few of them being on ly ve. Lyke as the Pryorie and frutes thereof are to be erected in ane Temporall Lordfhip , and neceffare it is that the faid Arch-bifhop fhall have ane conftant Chapter , according to the auncient Policie of the Kirk, and Foundamentall Lawes of this Kingdome. Therefore OURSOVERAIGNE LORD, with the advyce of the Eftaites of this prefent Parliament, Gives, grants and commits full power and com- miffion to George Arch-bifhop oiSanfi-Androes , to elect and nominat feaven qualified perfons of the Clergie at the leaft , dwelling and having charge and adminiftration within his Diocie , to be the perpetuall convent, Counfaill and Chapter of the faid Arch-bifhoprick in all tyme comming; and after the deceafeor removing oi any ane or mae ol them from their prefent place , the intrant fucceeding to the faid charge or place , to fuc- ceed alfo in that rowme of the Chapter or convent , and yet nevertheles referves to the faid Arch-bifhop and his Succeflburs their auncient Priviledge. Towitt, that the common Seall of the faid Chapter to be made of new by their awn advyce , mall ferve for their confents without their fubfcriptions. Attour , it is founden and decerned , that the prefent common Seall of the faid Chapter being appended to the evidents and rights alreadie made and granted by the faid Arch-bifhop 7 , hes bene and lhall be in all tyme comming ane fufflcient and perfite confent of the Chapter , and als effe&uall for fecuring of the Vaflels and Tenents receavers of the faids rights, as the famine hes bene in any tyme of before ; and fa to indure in force for confent of the faid Chapter , ay and whill the election of the faid Chapter , and making of the faid new common Seall. 9. Aft Salvo Jure Cujuflibet. THE Kings Majeftie and Eftaites of this prefent Parliament, decernes and declares , that the Ratifi- cation of any particular Rights , Infeftments, Tacks, Penfions or others writs and evidents , granted to whatfomever Perfons in this prefent Parliament , fhall nawyfe prejudge, hurt , nor derogate to the particu- lar Rights of other parties , notwithftanding they be not ratified nor confirmed at this tyme by his Heighnes and his faids Eftaites.
