UR SOVERAIGNE LORD and Eftates of Parliament declare, that no particular Acts made ' in favour of any of his Majefties fubje&s at this prefent Parliament , nor no Acts of Ratificati- on made in their favour , mall prejudge his Majeftie nor his Succeflburs , of the Acts and Statutes underwritten , made in favour of his Majeftie in this fame Parliament , viz. The Act of his Majefties Revocation : The Act anent the fuperiorities of Erections : The Act anent Regalities of Erections ; and the Acts made or ratified anent his Majefties annexed properties : And his Maje- jeftie and Eftates, finde and declare the faid particular Acts, and Acts of Ratification , made in favour of any of his Majefties fubjedts , in fo far as the fame ■, or any of them may prejudge his Majeftie ot his Succeflburs, of die faids Acts and Statutes, made in his Majefties favour, or of the benefit there- of in whole or in part, to be null and of none avail, force > nor effect , by way of exception or reply. And ficklike ; Statute and Ordaine that the faids particular Acts , and Acts of Ratification , fhall not prejudge any third party of their lawful rights, nor of their Actions and defences competent thereupon, before the making of the faids particular Acts and Acts of Ratification ; But that the Lords of Sef- fion and all other Judges fhall be obliged to judge betwixt the parties , according to their rights ftanding in their perfons* before the making of the faids particular Acts. And thatinrefpectthe faids particular Acts , and Acts of Ratification , are made without hearing of parties having intereft ; and therefore are made Salvo jure cujuflibet ; Like-as his Majeftie and Eftates declare , That this is and was the true meaning of all the Acts made in the preceeding Parliaments, Intitulat , hzxs Salvo jure cujuflibet Excepting alwayes forth of this prefent Act a Ratification of the Mortification of the Abbacie of T>un~ drenan to the Chapel-Royal , in favour of the Bifhop of Dunblane ; The Act of Ratification of the Benefice of Failfuird with the pertinents, granted to Mafter Walter Quhytfuird, with the Act of dif- folution of the Abbacies of Holy-rude-houfe and New-Abby, all paft in this prefent Parliament : except- ing alfo forth of this prefent Act , The Act of Ratification and diflblution, made in favour oi the Mar- quefs of Hamiltoun , anent his right to the f mpoft of the Wines new and old , gifted by his Majeftie to him for the fpace of Sixteen yeares fpecified in his gifts and grants made to him thereupon ; and alio excepting forth hereof the Ratification of the contract paft betwixt his Majeftie and the Lord Lome, Anent the heritable office of Jufticiarie , within the bounds therein mentioned , dated the third , and twentie third day of April, 16x8. yeares : And of the Charter under the great Seal, precept, andin- ftrument of feizing following thereupon , together with libertie of creation of Clerks and Members of court , directing of precepts , and letters of horning , and power to denounce ; and with all other priviledges therein contained.
