The more celebrated of the Ligurian tribes beyond the Alps are the Salluvii, the Deciates, and the Oxubii[5]; on this side of the Alps, the Veneni[6] and the Yagienni, who are derived from the Caturiges[7], the Statielli[8] the Bimbelli[9], the Magelli, the Euburiates, the Casmonates[10], the Veleiates[11], and the peoples whose towns we shall describe as lying near the adjoining coast. The river Rutuba[12], the town of Albiuni Intemelium[13], the river Merula[14], the town of Albium Ingaunum[15], the port of Vadum Sabatiorum[16], the river Porcifera[17], the town of Grenua, the river Feritor[18], the Portus Delphini[19] Tigullia[20], Tegesta[21]of the Tigullii, and the river Macra[22], which is the boundary of Liguria.
