He m. 2ndly, 1695, Elizabeth, only dau. and sole heir of Sir Thomas Felton, Bart, (ext.), of Playford, Suffolk ; she d. 2 May, 1741, having had 11 sons and 6 daus. of whom the 10th son was FELTON, M.P. Bury St. Ednmnds, equerry to Q. Caro- line 1736, and groom of the bedchamber to the Duke of Cumberland 1737 ; appointed with his son joint remembrancer of the court of exchequer, England, b. 12 Feb. 1711/12; d. 18 Aug. 1773, having m. Dorothy, dau. of Solomon Ashley, Esq. of Westminster, and relict of Charles Pitfield, Esq. of Hoxton, Middx. ; she d. 8 Nov. 1761, having had with 3 daus. an only son, FELTON LIONEL, lieut. horse guards, died 9 Sept. 1785, having m. 2 Mar. 1779,Selina Mary, only child of Sir John Elwill, Bart, (ext.), of Exeter (by Selina,dau. of Peter Bathurst, Esq. of Clarendon Park (see preceding article), and widow of Arthur Cole, last Earl of Ranelagh). She re-m. 21 Sept. 1797, to Right Hon. Sir William Henry Fremantle, Ci.c.H. n.L. ranger of Windsor Great Park, and treasurer of the royal hovisehold (B. Cottesloe), and d. 22 Nov. 1841, having had by her 1st husband, with 2 daus. 3 sons, (1) Sir Felton Elwill Hervey-Bathurst, which latter name, together with the arms, he assvmied by r. l. 12 Jan. 1802, in addition to his own; lieut.-col. of dragoons; k.m.T. k.s.o. [1] Frederick Felton William, an inspector-gen. of prisons in Ireland, and capt. 13th light dragoons ; b. 12 Mar. 1826; d. s. p. 31 Mar. 1861, having m. 4 Sept. 1855, Eleanor Au- gusta Killowen Acheson, dau. of Acheson Lyle, Esq. of The Oaks, Londonderry, a master in Chancery.
