Elizabeth, dau. of John Bennet, of Wallj-ford, co. Haddington, and had with other issue 4 sons, [1] Sir John, of Craighall, 2nd Baronet, lord of session (as Lord Craighall), and knighted 1632, a commissioner of justice and president during the protectorate, M.P. in Cromwell's parliament 1653, P.C.; d. 28 April, 1654, having m.
