QIR LAUCHLAN MACLEAN, of Morvaren, was created O a Baronet of Nova Scotia, 13 Feb. 1632, with remainder to his heirs male whatsoever (for other dates of creation see list of Nova Scotia Baronets) ; served at the battle of Inver- lochy when Montrose defeated the rebels under Argyll, and also at the battle of Kilsyth; d. 18 April, 1649.
