Hard Soap
- Pour 2 quarts of melted grease while lukewarm through a strainer into a clean scrubbing bucket.
- Dissolve 1 can of lye into 1 quart of water, and stir warm into the grease.
- Add imidiately 1 cup of ammonia and 2 tablespoon of Borax dissolved in a half cup of warm water stir alltogether for 1/2 hour then put away to cool.

- 4¼ pt melted greas 1 can babbits
- stir slowly 1/2 hour
