This volume contains the most important recent survey of results and the literature of Babylonian mathematics (pp. 385-394), and Astronomy and Calendar (pp. 394-418). In particular some details, with two of the figures, are given of F. Thureau-Dangin, "Un cadastre Chaldéen," Revue d'Assyriologie et d'Archéologie Orientale, vol. 4, 1897, pp. 13-27. No reference is given by Meissner to A. Eisenlohr's pamphlet dealing with the same text: Ein Altbabylonischer Feldplan, Leipzig, 1896, 18 pp. + 3 plates. Apparently also, Meissner has not taken account of J. Oppert's article. "Quelques mots sur le cadastre Chal-
