Diagrams 823, 824 and 825 To indicate distance in hundreds of yards to the next point at which a driver may leave the motorway or other route or a roundabout.

Permitted variants: The slope of the bars may be reversed when erected on the rights hand side of a carrigeway. On primary routes the background shall be green. On non—primary routes the symbol and border shall be black and the background white.
