An Act to amend and consolidate the Law relating to Copyright.

Be it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

§1 (1)
Copyright1.—(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, copyright[1] shall subsist throughout the parts of His Majesty's dominions to which this Act extends[2] for the term herein-after mentioned[3] in every original literary dramatic musical and artistic work[4], if—
